Google Currents - not deleting old news?

[sniffs]

So I got a notification that my SD card on my Atrix was completely full.. did some maintenance which freed up a few hundred MB.. a day later 0MB again.

I noticed that Google Currents' folder was like 6GB! I hadn't even opened the app in days.. did it literally accumulate like weeks worth of news and never deleted the old news?!?!?

Anyone else notice this?
