I use Xiaomi Redmi 3S with MIUI 8. I wanted to add a navigation shortcut to Google Maps to my home screen. This is how Google describes how it can be done:

Unfortunately, when I want to add widget to the home screen, there is no "Google Direction" widget available. I think that no widgets from Google Maps are available - they are just not in the list I can select widgets from. Has anyone using MIUI made it to work? Any help would be appreciated.
And, yes, I know I can do ALMOST the same "from the other side". I can select the destination in Google Maps and select the option to create a shortcut. I confirm it works. But this way I cannot select a name for the shortcut icon, so it is not exactly the same.
