Google drive backup still disabled

I've moved from the s8 to the note 8 which had the same problem that google drive backup was disabled by admin.

I think ever one who contact google was told that a fix would be issued by the 12th of September as of yet no fix has been released.

I have spoken to google today and no date for the fix has been issued and affects all nought users.

Maybe andriod central themselves could contact google and find out what is happening.

Oh word of advice google say that to ignore the message as your phone is still being backed up this is not correct my phone has not been backed up to google drive now for 6 months

Mine is backed up every night and even though it says "disabled by admin" in phone's settings
