So far I've only been able to get it through the browser, unless you're willing to flash GMS services.

nah I don't want to put GMS on, I have had my P40 Pro for so long that going back to GMS would be wrong haha. I have gone through the browser but I've been really struggling to edit excel docs. I didn't know if anyone knew of a possible APK for Google docs or is it that I would need to have GMS to access it?

Ye, I hardly ever use Google docs, since my company is all in with the Microsoft suite.

I have the P40 pro myself and I actually just tried to dl G Sheets/Docs, couldn't find it through Petal Search, other than a shortcut to the browser version. Good news is, I found it on Aptoide, bad news is, it doesn't work.

I guess it would take a good ol' ctrl+c / ctrl+v sesh to go through that. But no, I haven't, you "view only" on the web version.

Ye, most probably. Makes sense, since it uses Google's cloud services. I don't know what it would take to make it work on a new Huawei device.

If its just for accessing your own files in a cloud use Huaweis cloud! You get 5GB free and its fairly cheap compared to other cloud companies to store your stuff! Acess to find my phone too in case it gets stolen!

I think through the browser will be the only option. If you use a lot of cloud storage space theres loads of other options

I saw that, but I'm never paid for a music subscription, and don't intend to ever start. I get the appeal of 6 months free, but I don't want to be tied down after that. It's just me though, I'm sure other ppl will enjoy it.

You could try Dropbox, they have an "invitation" offer where, for every person you invite, you get free 500mb.
