Definitely server side ... I tried asking GA to make reservations for me at a spot I KNOW wasn't on Open Table just to make sure it didn't try to use that.

Of course you could speak all the instructions in a single sentence, but seeing this was just a test I didn't really want it to go that far.

It's cool but it's so in personal and kinda rude to be honest. I would hangup if someone did it to me.

You must not own a business. Why would you ever hang up on a call to book a reservation with you?

well actually, I think it's working on my phone. I asked it to make me a reservation at bonefish grill near my house for Friday at 7:00 p.m. I canceled the request but it seemed like it was starting to work.

To make a reservation? Absolutely not. The business can opt out of the Duplex service if they choose. To me, if that's a service they want as a part of their business why would I not use it to book?

This is very very true. Google duplex is going to be a really amazing and killer service!

I was just starting to test out duplex on my phone by testing and making a reservation then canceling at a local restaurant near my house. It works beautifully!

I tried to make a haircut appointment with it as well, but that didn't work really only a reservation at restaurants. Also you can book a hotel via duplex. Which is kind of crazy and cool...
