Google Enhanced Security Browsing?

I got the notification in Gmail today recommending Google Enhanced Security Browsing.

Had anyone run into problems using the enhanced security? I don't want my downloads from Google Drive blocked!

If I enable the enhanced security does it affect Firefox too or only Chrome?

It won't affect Firefox itself, but it may affect Google services you access through Firefox.

I got the same email notification, after reading through the terms and conditions I decided not to turn it on... it monitors all Google apps and services, not just email or browsing like the message first suggested. I don't want any issues sideloading anything, and I suspect it's at least partially just another way to collect more data, so they can better personalize our ads.

I'm extremely careful and have never had any issues... that's how I've ran older phones WELL beyond their security patch expiration dates lol.

I didn't turn it on for the same reason as you.
