Google Fit not compatible with Note 4 after Lollipop

I did a factory reset with the hopes of improving battery life. All of my apps seem to have re-installed correctly except for Google Fit. I couldn't find it so I went to Google Play. It says that my device is incompatible. I did not have this issue when I first downloaded Lollipop; only when I did the factory reset. I like the app so I'm wondering what the issue is.

It will create issues with your heart rate sensor. It isn't available from Google Play I assume because of that.

Same here. Note 4 on Lollipop. No Google fit. Play store says not compatible. What gives? This is a pretty big break.

Same issue, but as others say they can use it... Curious if people who are getting that message are rooted?

Yeah no root or anything..got lollipop update and google fit works fine.

I'm not rooted, and it doesn't come up for me. Probably Samsung's way of forcing people into their apps.

Actually, Bbeelzebub is probably correct.

I saw the incompatible message just now too.

I think the issue is today some of us had Fit installed prior to the update and it remained after the update. However, I was troubleshooting severe battery drain from Android Systemand some posts mentioned Fit, which made sense since my heart rate sensor was coming on all the time.

So, I uninstalled Fit after having lollipop.

Then I downloaded some new apps that tie on to Fit which prompted me to download Fit.

That's when I saw the incompatible message.

I'm assuming Google is working on a fix our waiting for Samsung to update (yeah right).

Fyi...battery still seems bad (worse than kit Kat) without Fit installed.
