Gemini is a complete failure.
I have the paid (got it free) version and it's dumb as a brick. It can't even take previous parts of the same chat into consideration when answering.
It couldn't even explain the paid AI plans token structure. When I mocked it for not understanding it's own structure, how it was a glorified alpha, it got defensive (lol). I then explained why it's an alpha and Google has some wallnuts on them charging people what they do to be guinea pigs for such a basic and useless experience. It agreed?

Listen, when I saw "turn on the fan" and it says "your Nvidia shield isn't currently online", it means it's a step dumber than the assistant was before they nerfed it and 2 steps dumber than a AI should be.
Google has already lost the AI war being this far behind. That coupled with their historical we give up attitude and just burry a hole for it with a tombstone...
As eluded in the article, the only thing it will be useful for is within its own apps and maybe Android (more advanced routines and tasks). Outside of that, I don't see it.
