When in dark spaces the brightest is too bright sometimes. Like reading a book in bed.

Leave the app open in the background. Once it's open it's open. No different than from the drop down menu.

Yeah I don't have that installed, I prefer notification panel or lock screen Short cut.

Years ago I remember having to use a 3rd party app to have a flashlight.

I have missed the brightness adjustment and am very glad it is coming to the Pixels.

Sometimes I need as much light as I can get. Other times a need a lot less.

If memory serves the adjustable brightness in the app. Will allow the led to get brighter than it currently does.
