Google Home Updates

Google Home is telling me that there is an update and to go to the app.

Does anyone know what exactly we are supposed to do once we are there?

Go to the Play app and update the Home app.

App is up to date. Google Home is still saying there is an update. It says to go to the app and to link it to the device.

Kind of annoying, it shouldn't be this difficult.

one or more of your connected devices needs to be re-linked to Google home. for example a Google Chromecast audio, a Hue Light Hub, a smart plug or other home automation device controlled by the Google home
