Google I/O Version <> Launch Version

Hey folks,

I searched the forums before posting this so if its a duplicate my apologies.

What I'm trying to figure out is if the Evo that was given out during the Google I/O conference is any different than the ones post-launch and are being sold now. I'm considering buying one from a third-party and its one of the Google I/O ones.

Are there any hardware differences? I'm assuming it'll get pushed the same network updates as the regular version would once its activated?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

They are no different than the ones that were sold in stores. They just had an SD card issue that was resolved for every Evo (I/O or not) with an OTA update.

Yeah, I got one at G I/O and it's the same device as retail.
