Google Inbox Update Availble

There is an Inbox update available at Google Play Store. Maybe this update addresses the sync and notification issues some of us have been experiencing.

Update: Just sent an e-mail to myself and received the notification on both my Android phones within 30 seconds of sending the message. Inbox Reminder notifications are also working again.

I don't like the Inbox, plus, if I install Inbox, I then have Gmail app and Inbox, I don't like having 2 apps to do the same thing

is there a way to uninstall the Gmail app and just leave Inbox?

You can disable the Gmail app under Settings > Apps

When you install inbox and login to it the 1st time, go to setting and inbox will tell you that you have gmail notification enabled and give you the option to turn that off with one click

Why would you do that if you don't like inbox?
