Google Keep on Android Randomly Displays Attached Images

This is a new problem with Google Keep Notes on my Google Pixel 3A XL. Some images attached to notes do not display within the Keep Notes app on my phone. Others do. There appears to be no logical reason for this that I can identify. All images, however, display correctly in the browser version of Keep Notes. It appears to have nothing to do with whether the image is a PNG or JPG or the size of the image (I've tried making them smaller). I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall the app, since I don’t know if I will lose my hundreds of Notes and Images.

This is a recent problem that appears to have started with a recent Android update, but I don't know which one.

I have tried all the usual trouble-shooting steps to no avail. Trying to get help directly from Google of course, is pointless.

Welcome to Android Central! Google probably won't respond directly to any support question, but it's definitely worth sending feedback through Keep's menu (Help & Feedback). Believe it or not, they do pay attention to that.

If everything is in your Google Keep in the cloud, then you can safely clear the app cache/data for the Keep app (in the Settings>Apps menu), then Force Stop it. Then open it again and wait a few seconds for everything to resync. Does the problem still occur?
