Mine is using 70-80mb. Is this normal?

Any good alternatives that are efficient?

Not sure if that's normal for the Android keyboard. I use Swiftkey which is usually around 30-40 mb.

Mine uses 70-80 MB of RAM as well. I don't worry about it, since I still have a full GB of RAM free.
