So who here uses Google keyboard?I have it on one-handed mode and was curious what everyone thought about the sides and predictions of it's typing. Thanks.

I've been a little dissatisfied lately with Google Keyboard's performance. When swiping, it sometimes can't figure out some pretty common words. Wondering if I should go back to Fleksy for a while (even though Pinterest is buying it :-\ ).

I mean I love using all of Google's apps and products, I guess I should try to trust the keyboard and just type faster while still g at the keyboard while I type.

I'm going to try gesture typing one handed and try my best to get used to it that's for sure. Who knows I might like it. On another note, this gorilla glass 4 screen is super ready to clean and get all the finger prints off of.

Oh really I guess I'll have to try harder to get used to it then thanks. Just got to trust myself then I suppose.

Yes you should, when my colleague first introduce google keyboard to me, its take me some time to get used to it, but now love it.

I've been using Swiftkey ever since it launched. The predictions are just unbeatable. The new Google keyboard is also nice, but I switch back to Swiftkey everytime.

I use and like the Google Keyboard.I'm using it on both my N6 and 6p.
It serves my needs find,I don't always use one handed mode on the 6p.
But on the N6 I use one handed more often then not
Also most, but not every time I use the swipe input. Its just faster and inputs the words correct most of the time for me.

Yeah I am going to try using Google keyboard again seriously and see if I can't get used to the flow style. Thanks for the responses back everyone.

I actually have switched to Google Keyboard from Swiftkey. While I've been a long time Swiftkey user, I find Google is much better at predicting what I'm typing.

What I'm doing currently is practicing with Google keyboard and essentially using the flow swipe feature which, with I've have, works very well at predictions as long as you hit every single letter of the words correctly it definition understands what you're trying to say.

I always go back to SwiftKey no matter how hard I try to like Google keyboard. Maybe I'll try again soon but I have been a SwiftKey user for years.

Predictions it's a little disappointing, however performance and ease of use its better than any others I've used...so I stick with it.

Google's predictions tend to be better if I accidentally start a word with the wrong letter, but I tend to like SwiftKey better, because of the themes and split key mode (great on my Pixel C).

I've been using Swiftkey for a while, mostly for the bilingual capabilities.

However recently I got a lot of nonsense words appearing in my text and found myself having to erase words much more frequently than usual.

So I gave the Google keyboard another try. I think it does a better job at autocorrect than Swiftkey, so I now have much less mistakes, but I agree it's not as good for predictions.

I just type fast without paying much attention and usually Google keyboard will get it right.

Yeah Google keyboard is nicer at predictions. It's ALSO nice to use Google products like I said
