Google Location Services / battery drain

I just updated to 4.3 and rooted and now my battery is draining at least twice as fast as before with the same usage. I've read quite a few posts that say that Google Services (specifically location reporting) can cause a lot of issues. Could someone point me to what settings I should tweak?

Also, if you are aware of anything else that could be causing battery drain after the 4.3 update, please let me know.

If location services is your issue, then I had that problem too.
Thing you need to do:
Settings->location access-> uncheck all the boxes. Try and see if that fixed the issue.

Hm my battery drain has gotten a lot better but i think that's from greenifying and freezing some apps. Especially facebook. I turned location services back on yesterday and it doesn't seem to be doing so bad with them on. Of course I don't enable GPS. Thank you for the tip though!

Yeah, FB seems to do background data transfer even if you set it not to. FB wants to know where you are and what you're doing, whether you want to give it that information or not.
