Google Maps trouble on 4a 5G.

Anyone else having errors with google maps. I keep getting searching for gps and gps signal lost announcements. Then the maps freeze and is useless. I also have a z flip 3 and I maps worked flawlessly. Is this a known issue with Pixel devices? I've read in samsung forums of the same thing happening. But it worked fine when I tested it on my flip 3.

Does it also happen in Safe Mode?

Everything good here. Perhaps try downloading another map app and see if the same thing happens. If so, it might be the GPS hardware.

Mapquest app worked fine.

I'd still try it in Safe Mode to see if some 3rd party app is interfering.

Safe mode made no difference, "GPS signal lost"

Just to be sure, Location permission is turned on, right?

Might be an internal error a reboot could clear up. You didn't mention that as a remedy. And did you check if there's been a Play Store update?

Also try clearing data and force stop maps
