Google maps weather radar - is this available?

Gang -

This is one cool feature that would totally rock.

When driving cross country, knowing what is up ahead w/o trying to launch some weather app then go back into navigation - would really be awesome.

Does this exist?

Seems to me that weather channel app has radar imagery which can be "layered" with maps.
