I know it has been discussed in the past that the market on Nookie Froyo (running off card) is missing ALLOT of apps. Therefore, I was following the directions by going into Root Explorer and got to the following:

I got into the system folder, but it will not let me set it as rw. Then when I go to "build.prop" select open in text editor, says its read-only...

Any help???

At the top of the Root Explorer, there is a button that says mount r-rw. This mounts the file system so that it is writable. Should fix your issue. :)

Ha, I read your original post wrong. I'm sorry. That's interesting. I'm not sure what the problem is then. Have you tried reflashing Froyo on the SD card?

That is a last resort. Any other ways to get the market to show all the apps?

I found that having wifi on and the nook not in sleep mode will get apps to load from the web interface. I don't know how you tried it but this might help. Besides this, I'm out of ideas. Sorry. Anyone one else on the forums have any thoughts?
