Question google message advance phone number

so i did a dumb thing tonight when i go home i was trying to figure out after i sent my brother a gif though app i saw surge gifs at the right side<-never seen it before

anyways i uninstall app and install back of course i had to redo everything again when i went into advance settings under phone number it saying unknown back in oct when i jump ship to samesung to google message back on oct 19th i don't recall if i had the number 1 then area code and number it seems when i try to save it and go back out and look it again they go away

if i put in number without area code it saves i did see that report verizon message went into inbox and not spam and block<-i did delete i'm sure next time i get a spam message report and block to verizon it will go back into spam and block message

i actually found out if i would had just turn off suggestion actions would disappear if i turn back on reappear

i also don't have any new previews in links due to uninstall and reinstall app anyways back to unknown number part in advance and yes it still showing area code and number in 2 rcs chats that i have btw

umm is a known factor that if you try to put a number 1 or area code rest of number and try to save go back it goes to unknown? i assumed it true because i was reading it up on regedit i guess its my fault i should had look in advance before i uninstall and see if i had 1 then area code or area code number or just number basically in a nutshell i don't know if i should try to wait few days put in area code see works or install last version see put it or leave it alone like it is ya thoughts?

Your number should automatically populate there under RCS chats then give it time to register

its there on rcs but i'm talking about when you go into advance settings phone number and its saids unknown and you input phone number in<-if you put a 1 or area code then number go out and go back and look it disappears but if you just put in a number its stays unless you put in 000 then 1 or area code and number<-i never done this before i think 1st time around i did it just had number i don't think it never work before could be wrong

i assumed you never put your number in under advance settings where word phone number is left it blank eh this is what talking about in pic from regedit

i read that even if you put a 1 or area code then phone number save it goes away again i believe when i did it 1st time around i just put in number instead don't recall

last time i got spam message was past sun i'm sure might get one again then i report and block verizon it will show up again in spam and black<-i'm not sure why when i uninstall and reinstall back the report to verizon went into inbox instead staying in spam and block that was odd

tell me something have you ever seen that before in rcs chat at right side surge gifs before after you send someone a gif not sure what happen then perhaps i should turn that suggestion off never uninstall and reinstall but it never happen until yesterday on wifi when i text my brother a gif since using it back in oct

How you input the area code it's greyed out

if you click on unknown it will show up dial tone input and save ok<-then again i got older phone perhaps reason why i can do it and you can't on your phone however like i said if you put in a 1 and area code number or just area code then number and save it and then back out and go back look again it will go back saying unknown but if you just put in number it saves

somebody did mention if you put 000 1 then area code number it will work i never done that before

The only way I could get a number to stick was putting my number in with the full 3 digit country code in front of the number. In my case in the US it's 001 and my area code is 999 area code. 001(999)123-4567.

If you just put 19991234567 or 9991234567 it doesn't stick and always reverts to the previous number. If you delete the number it goes back to Unknown

my area code isn't 999 btw maybe i did have it as a 1 or area code but like i said i don't recall last night when i uninstall i believe 99 percent i had it with number who knows

Can't click on unknown it doesn't allow u to do anything it's greyed out

wonder how come i can do it on my phone i can still edit but if i add a 1 and area code phone number or area code then phone number it will revert back to phone number if i uninstall and reninstall or clear data and to input 1/area code or just area code number go back saying unknown meh

I'm on T-Mobile maybe Verizon different and on the unlock model

anyways have you ever seen surge gifs before under a person name right side in rcs i guess i freak out last night went on ahead uninstall and reinstall didn't know that if i turn off suggested actions would went away if i turn it back on displays <-of course its no longer saying it despite its not turn off after reinstall btw

i wonder what would had happen if i would have waited until after i saw him indicate typing then sent gif afterwards if would done that or not being on rcs that is

i sent him gifs home wifi no issues even if not using wifi and have to be on mobile data when go to places

yeah but my part was when you block and report spam the verizon report would come up at the top<-for some odd reason when i uninstall and reinstall that jump into inbox am not sure why so since i couldn't figure out how to move it back the history under spam and block numbers i deleted it

got a spam today and when i reported to verizon it only show that new one in spam and black besides show history and spam notification came back i wonder why its always on silence oh well
