Is anyone else having trouble with Google Messages working on the big screen? It won't open at all. I can use it on the small screen.

No problem here on Google Message and latest update.
After updating did you...
Wipe Cache Partition, Repair apps & Galaxy App Booster
There wasn't an update. One minute it worked and the next it didn't.
Wiping cache was one of the first things I did

I spoke too soon. Just received the following Message update, (see screenshot), and I have the same issue of Google Message not opening in unfolded mode.

I bet this is screwed up because of the Pixel Fold. Ironass' screenshot says beta, have you guys tried unenrolling?

You are right @fuzzylumpkin. Switching from Beta has solved the issue for me.
As you say, probably to do with the Pixel Fold.
