okay so I know everyone here pretty much love the Google messenger app as I do as well. The only thing that I sort of don't like about Google messenger is when you do the quick reply to an incoming text message it doesn't show you the previous line of what the other person sent you of the text, only shows you what you can type into the message box. Has anyone ever realize that

Yes, I also think you should be able to see what you're responding to. And you should be able to mark as read from the notification. Otherwise, great app.

Baby. I mean I tried every other messaging app out there from the Play Store, including material messaging but the picture ID would not sync properly and the developer try to tell me but he just wouldn't work., I've tried every other message and just nothing works as simply and as clean as Google messenger. So I guess I'll just have to put up with it lol

Eh true, but still I would much prefer to see the previous line of text more so than anything else

Personally I agree with all of the gripes mentioned above, but I also have to agree that Google Messenger is the best messaging app. And is MUCH better than the old default Android Messenger app.

The only problem I can thing I can of in the 8SMS is it doesn't support the materialistic design that Google has implemented in all of their apps. It's very stock Plain Jane.

My one gripe is that when you take a photo with the app to send a message to someone theres no option to save it to your gallery.

Other then that its the most lightweight/speedy option for texting. Plus its not super duper ugly like most of the Samsung/LG apps

The beta version does. I wish it supported heads-up notifications though. Also, the developer is great, but appears to have abandoned it.
