Google Music Beta not streaming on Bumblebee 2.4

Came across something strange.

On Bumblebee 2.4, Google Music Beta is not able to stream music on a Wifi or 3G connection. You can watch the track load/buffer, but it will not start playing like it normally should. Even after it's done loading, and you expect it to play, it still doesn't. Occasionally you can get the track to play after hitting stop, then play again, but even that doesn't always work. It does stream fine over Wifi though. But here's some other points...

* Pandora streams fine on Bumblebee over 3G and Wifi. No problems at all.
* I reloaded my stock rooted nandroid to see if the problem was there too, as I was always able to stream Google Music on my stock ROM. Sure enough, it worked without fail. I then restored my Bumblebee nandroid again, tried Google Music again, and it will not stream.
* I flashed Harmonia, then installed Google Music Beta, to check that out, and it streams perfectly over 3G and Wifi.

So, the problem is definitely something with Bumblebee and streaming Google Music Beta. No idea what it could be, but that's why I'm posting here. Could it be some sort of google service that's not installed? I'm reaching here, but really looking to see if anyone has any ideas.

So far is is my ONLY beef with Bumblebee, it's been a stellar experience otherwise, but I really want to get Google Music running. Thanks!

A day later. Still running the Harmonia 1.5 I flashed last night. I have it set up identically now to my setup on Bumblebee, same apps, same shortcuts, same widets. And Google Music Beta is still working/streaming flawlessly.

It's killing me wondering what it is about the bumblebee rom keeping it from running properly.

As close as they are, not everything is identical. I'm not sure what could be causing it though. Maybe they were just having a problem and had it fixed when you tried Harmonia. If you get curious try reloading BB and see if it works now.

I confirmed it by switching back to stock, then back to BB again.

Order of events were...
Used Google Music Beta (GMB) on stock: no problems.
Loaded Harmonia, kept for 2 days: no prob with GMB.
Loaded BB, kept for 3 days: GMB never worked.
Restored stock nandroid: GMB working great.
Restored BB Nandroid: GMB not working.
Flashed fresh install of Harmonia: GMB working great.

I'll try another fresh flash of BB, but I think the above confirms my suspicions.

Strange, but thanks for satisfying my curiosity if nothing else. :)

I'm just glad Harmonia worked for you (and yes, I do plan on fixing it).

No problem. I'm glad Harmonia is working great as well. Still running it. I am using Link2SD at the moment to free me up some extra space. Whenever you get around to correcting the missing memory thing, I'll definitely be re-flashing. Thanks for a killer ROM though. Everything is running amazing.
And the boot up time is amazing quick too. Good stuff.

To get it back, the current fix is to install the 1.3.1 version. Which is linked at the bottom of post 2.
I keep all of the older (working) versions available there.

1.5 uses Edify scripting, which trashed mvdalvik, leading to storage space loss. That is the primary difference. I gave it a new number in case of a major problem such as this.

I just haven't had time to fix it.
