Has anyone been having issues with Google music hogging CPU and getting the warning even if your not using it. I used Google music a couple times the last couple of days, close it out and later get the device maintenance warning of high CPU usage. Both mornings wake up to the warning, yesterday morning phone was warm and not fully charged. So last night I went to the battery in settings and even closed Google music from there and still got the warning. Any ideas

Haven't seen it myself, and I use Google Play Music a fair amount. It's slow to open for me, but it doesn't hog CPU like you are experiencing.

I use Google music daily and haven't seen this warning. What I do see is that I'll close the app (fully close, not pause music) and still see the notification for it on my lock screen. Sometimes it won't go away until I restart the phone.

I have the same thing happen when I close Google music out, I have to go and swipe it out of the notification drop down to. Even after doing that it seems to keep running in the back ground some how. I've cleared cache and I'm going to try clearing data now. Someone suggested uninstalling it and reinstall, maybe I'll just do that.

Odd. I use Google music daily. Have been for years. Never seen this on my S8 plus it any devices. The ONLY thing I've done with the S8 plus for it to give me a heat warning was when I used the download booster function to download a bunch of Apps for gear VR .

Yea, I'd try the uninstall/reinstall for starters. That might help narrow down from it being an app or system issue.
