Google navigation no longer vibrates watch?

I'm using a moto 360 and I'm noticing after the recent Google maps update my watch is noon get vibrating as the next turn comes up. It makes the app much less useful when you have to constantly check the watch for the next turn to show up. Has anyone else noticed this on their watch?
