Someone was asking before if there was a way to see just the moving map in the Google Navigation app without having to put in a desitnation. The Sprint Nav app already did this.

Got a new update today for Google Maps/Nav which has this feature. Just open the Navigation app and at the top of it next to where it says "Choose Destination" is a new button with an "M" on it. This will take you to the map.

I had to use the search button to find the Places app but even after running it, it doesn't show up in the app list and can't add it to a home screen. Guess I'll have to restart or just wait until I restart.

I wish Google would name all their apps with "Google" at the beginning so they'd all be together in the app list.
