Google needs to add in Notification grouping!

I can't stand that my exchange, hotmail and gmail can get separated by other notifications.

they should all you to set up groups, such as "Email", then your email notifications are always next to each other..

"News" all the news in there. "Deals" for offers, groupons, living social, etc..

Anyone else feel this way?

Hmmm interesting idea but they really need to good set of categories also good way to diffier from iOS which categorize notfication by application they came from. Also you might not be aware but JB introduce prioritize notifications, so most importent notifications will go to top

I think that grouping is a good idea, but I also think that what they've implemented in Jelly Bean should also help alleviate some of the current issues with notifications.

• First, they're ordered by importance. Assuming the metrics by which they measure importance are reasonably accurate, then this is a good thing.
• Second, they can be expanded. This allows for applications to show more information in a single notification, meaning little need for multiple notifications from the same app. The very large number of notifications put up by Google Play for downloading/installing/updating apps is a good example.
• Finally, they can be interacted with in many more ways than before. This also reduces the need for multiple or repeat notifications.
