Before getting the N5 I was using paranoid android on my Gnex. It was awesome having the ability to change DPI and use tablet layout. I have good eyes so with the 5" 1080p screen it would be great to fit more on the screen. Doing some searching, it seems xposed framework with the app settings module are what is needed do this on any ROM but xposed is not yet 4.4 compatible. Are there any other apps that do this? Otherwise, are there some tweaks/hacks to manually do this system wide or on a per app basis?

You can easily do it by changing the DPI in build.prop with any editor. I used rom toolbox lite. I made mine 410 which has so far perfect for me, you could go smaller though. I've been trying to find a way to change an app to a lower DPI but I haven't found a way yet. Simpsons Tapped Out is driving me crazy on this phone because it's so zoomed in.

Can you look or do you remember what the default was? I forgot and changed mine and know I don't remember.

:) it was 480. Fyi xposed framework is now kit kat compatible so you can use the app settings module to change dpi on a per app basis.
