Google Nexus 5 - getting european version from the US

Is it possible to get the European model from here in the states?

While I can't say 100% regarding your situation, I'm guessing it's impossible without having a friend in Europe find one at a retailer.

I'm currently in Europe, and I've been told that the only model offered through the Google Play store is the US model. I didn't even realize there were multiple models until after I ordered it, and now it's too late to cancel my order....what a PITA! I've been told (via Google Play and Google Wallet support) that in order to get the European model, I'll have to purchase it at a retailer. The only positive side to this, is that it's not shipping for 3-4 weeks. So I may be able to get one from a retailer sooner than the online order would get here anyway.
