Google Nexus 5 - Please Help!! Sound but no picture on all television apps

Hi all, new to this forum and could do with your help.

Had my nexus 5 for about a month now and I've been regularly using it to watch TV appa such as filmon tv, BBC iplayer, TV catvhup etc.

Today I've loaded filmon and selected a channel. The sound is there but just a black screen. I reinstalled the app but no luck. I then tried a few of my other apps and the same happens with them too.

Anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it????

Happening for me too..
Did you find a fix?

I did factory reset, upon restart filmon worked the 1st channel the when I switched I'm back to the black screen with sound all the time.

Seems a lot of complaints about that app in the Play Store. Would suggest people uninstall it.
