Google Nexus 5X abrupt shut down

[Android Central Question]

Last night my Google Nexus 5X shut down by itself. Now when I push the power button, the phone just displays a Google logo and turns off again, have tried charging as well but same result. Help needed?

Had the same problem a couple months ago...sadly, and fortunately mine was still under warranty, had to contact LG and send it in. They had to replace the board.

Yup. Your 5X is "bootlooping". Contact LG to get it repaired. Mine had the same issue and was repaired for no charge.
