I haven't owned a big phone since the note 2. But since I had that I have had a couple of pretty large phones, gs5, g3. So I'm wondering if going from the 5.5 inch g3 to the 6 inch n6 is going to be just too big, what does everyone else think?

This is still legit question being asked?

Anyway... So far from the early impressions it looks so outrageously big in the hand that it's just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I will certainly enjoy multimedia even more with the extra real estate of the screen. Just need to buy new pants....... 😁

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

Yes I am worried. Mostly because I've never had a phablet before and I don't have large hands.

I've wanted a small tablet for a while now (for eBook reading). The nexus 6 could be perfect for that as well as being a good mini tablet so I don't feel the need to also bring my nexus 7 along. I'm a girl and I have a HUGE purse (I carry my iPad air with me everywhere) so carrying it won't be an issue. I just don't know how I'll feel about those times I need to use a phone one handed (say it is raining and I need to hold an umbrella and text or check bus schedules at the same time).

I can't wait to check it out in stores but I keep going back and forth on whether I can handle the size.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

Anyone worried about size can go and try out a Note 4/iPhone 6 Plus etc in any store, and imagine a few mm wider/taller/thicker. I just don't get the endless worrying about the size, its not the first phablet ever!

People just focus on the screen size and forget it has small bezels, stereo speakers and an ergonomic back which should help in hand feel.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I used to worry about the Note 4 but Samsung figured it out with their Side Control Panel.

Last year size was a problem with the Note 3 and unless Motorola has a similar feature I am worried.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I actually found the Note 4 easier to handle then the 6+. There are certain elements of a phones size that make it easier or more difficult to hang on to (ie....the 6+ is extremely thin). The nexus 6 is thicker and wider than both which some will find difficult to get their fingers around to the front.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

Size and price are the main things people are worried about.

I was worried about the size, as I have been worried about the size of previous Nexuses. However, this is the first time they've made one the size I want, so I am no longer worried. I hate small phones.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

Once I got use to a larger device, it has been very difficult going to & staying with the Nexus 5 & it's cramped screen size for as long as I have. My Note 2 has spoiled me on available screen real estate & the only reason I got a Nexus 5 was because I was tired of TouchWiz. Some, not all, will get use to the Nexus 6 size but the only way you'll know if it's to big for you or not is to try it out for a few days.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I have a Iphone 6 Plus. From some short reviews I've seen, it's just a little wider than that. I think I can handle the size.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I'm slightly concerned about the size, especially after Phil said in the recent podcast that he has small hands and the phone is BIG, a lot bigger than he'd like. However, I will give it a good try for a few weeks and make judgment from there.

I know for sure one-handing will be near impossible, so I'll just have to adapt. The screen will look great though.

This is also a guy who prefers the size of the old Moto X to the new Moto X. Of course it's too big for him. The only opinions on size I'm personally interested in are from those who prefer a Note-sized device.

It all depends on the person. Some like the larger screen and will be ok with it. Others like smaller size. I am thinking about getting it to go along with my iPhone 6 and replace my tablet. Then I could have a "large" phone and the smaller iPhone to switch between. The best of both worlds IMO

I like the note devices, just never liked touchwiz that much. Being a real nexus is on verizon, it is almost too good to pass up. I think I may wait a few months and see if there are any price drops and then pick up a nexus 6.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

This is my first note phone, but when I had my HTC m7 I'd look at the note line and think wow those phones are massive.. but now I look at an HTC m7 and I'm like that phone is too small, so I guess I got used to the size and I'm all for it

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I can't see myself ever going back to a smaller screen once I have the Nexus 6 in hand..........

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I'm a Nexus 5 owner, I have been worried about size. Yes this is still a concern for people, not everyone has owned a Phablet before or even used one. The nexus 5 is the biggest smartphone I've owned.

I went to best buy an hour ago to try the 6+ and the note 4. They both surprisingly felt comfortable to use. I actually was taken back by how usable the phones were. I appreciated the extra real estate for reading and typing.

There are two concerns still

1. how these size phones will fit in my pocket. The summer months are a concern since I usually do not wear a jacket. Also, adding a case will add bulk (I always get a case)

2. One handed use. I think this is becoming less and less of a concern for me. I didn't have too many one handed issues with the 6+ and note 4. Plus, I use two hands more often now and prefer that.

I'm a guy, 5'9", I would say I have slightly above average hands.

Also, the stylus on the note 4 was cool. The design of the phone wasn't in my wheel house but their stylus technology is cool.
