I've been using the the Nexus Wireless Charger in my car to charge and magnetically dock the Nexus 5 for the past year and I'm really HOPING that the new Nexus 6 will keep this feature. I haven't seen any info about it though...
Any thoughts?

Same question for the same reason. Now that I have the setup in my car it would take a lot to get me to go back to wires.

Ditto here. The magnetic, wireless charging capability makes it so easy to use my phone in the car, that I do it even for very short trips. Would be hard to live without it.

I'm sure it will charge it as for holding it up hmm Its about 46% heavier then the Nexus 5 and hasa somewhat curved backing.

I would assume it should work, right? Is there anything super special that makes it work? If it's just a magnet it should still do the same thing. We know the n6 has qi so.

Not all qi chargers or qi phones have the magnets to align the phone and hold it in place. We're not talking about the charging technology, just the magnets that hold the phone to the charger.

I didn't know the phone had to specifically have magnets. Maybe it won't then. Considering moto made it. Hopefully they'll have something comparable if it's not compatible.

It doesn't have to have them to charge the phone, just hold them in place and makes it a lot easier to make sure it's in the best alignment to charge. With my nexus 5 and the nexus charger, the phone snaps into the proper place whether you have it vertical or horizontal and locks it there with the magnets. This works awesome for people like me who use one as a car mount or have one on the wall to be able to watch news while brushing teeth etc.
