Google Nexus 6 Will It Rock?

Misleading subject but couldn't figure out a better way of wording it. The N6 has a rounded back. If I place the phone on a flat surface, will it rock side to side when I use it?

Good point, I hate how a lot of these new phones all do this. Definitely ruined the htc m8 and moto x for me.

Yes but that's the tradeoff you have to make to get something that feels better in the hand than a giant flat slab.

Looking at this picture, I say it's likely. Although it might be balanced and wide enough that it won't be so pronounced when interacting with it on a flat surface.

Yes it will rock, but it will also feel a lot more comfortable in the hand compared to other devices with the same size but flat back.

I'm still going to order the phone, but an uneven keyboard drives me nuts and I use keyboards rarely compared to my phone. I know this sounds minor to you, but a phone that moves every time I touch it could be a deal breaker - for me.

Mooen, hoping you're right.

It's honestly something I hadn't thought about before. I think I always pick my phone up to mess with it. I had to check my Note 2, though. It rocks quite a bit (although still probably less than the Nexus 6) on the right side, but not on the left side. The bumps for the camera and speaker give it odd points of contact.

This is hilarious...and humbling. I have a Note 2...it rocks.

Never mind. :p Talk amongst yourselves.

This is pretty much how I feel about it. Having a 2013 Moto X, it is annoying that it rocks in a table, but it feels great in the hand.

I've held the flat backs of the Note 4 and the iPhone 6 and it just doesn't feel as comfortable.
