GOOGLE NEXUS 7 - not charging

Hi,

My google nexus 7 tablet is not charging. It has kit-kat version

When I plug the charger It shows the battery charging icon & the charging animation (white colour filling up) but the battery is not charged at all.

I tried to replace a new battery but still the same problem continues.

Pl. help me about what is to be done.

Welcome to Android Central! How long have you tried to charge it for? Are you plugged into a wall outlet or a computer USB port? Are you using the device while you're trying to charge it?

If you're plugged into a wall outlet, go to Settings>Battery. Does it say Charging (AC) or Charging (USB)? If the latter, then the cable or the wall plug may be faulty. Try a new or different cable/plug.

I had the same problem with mine on Kit Kat. It wouldn't charge when I plugged it in with the unit in sleep mode or on, but it would if I turned it off. A factory reset would fix the problem for a short while and then it would return. Google and Asus customer service were absolutely no help. The issue was resolved, however, when I updated to Lollipop. If you can upgrade do it and see if that helps.
