Google Nexus 7 Tablet (2012) wifi issue since update

Hi all, My nexus 7(not the new one) updated to kit kat this week . All seems fine apart from when the it,s left in sleep mode for a few hours it will not switch WiFi back on . when you click the soft switch from off to on nothing happens :'( only way around it is to keep rebooting , this has only been an issue since the update.

Any advice ?

check out that thread, same problem. Mine is nexus 2012 as well, same problem. What I did after reading that thread is to check Juice Defender. If you have this app, go there and turn on "force reconnect" under wifi. It works for me so far.

I have this problems since update. I don't know any one els has noted that. I have nexus 7 2012 and just update it to kitkat this weak. Since then I started to face this week WiFi signal problem. My iPhone signal bars are full but this tablet's signals are jus last one or most of the time no signals. Even in the room it is not showing complete signals. And some time totally drop it.
I m new to Andorid. Please suggest some solution.
