Google not putting new music on Google Play Music?

We all know Google is trying to transition away from Play Music and get us to use the atrocious YouTube Music service instead.

Lindsey Stirling released a new song this week, it's no where to be found on Google Play Music, can't purchase or stream it. Meanwhile it's on YouTube Music, along with Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Spotify.

Anyone else notice new music making it to YouTube Music while neglecting Google Play?

Is this Google trying to force us to switch?

Which song are you referring to? When I look up Lindsey Stirling, I see a few new "Albums" from 2020 that are basically just one song -- but as is GPM's style, they don't show up first, since they're not full albums. Instead, they show up after the artist's earliest full album. I see "What You're Made Of" and "Grateful" from 2020.

(BTW, I'm looking on the desktop interface, not the app.)

Strange, I downloaded YouTube Music after I couldn't find "What You're Made Of" on Play Music the night the song released. Now it's there when I search. Guess I made a post for no reason lol.
