I've only got my phone about 10 days after coming from my M8 and I'm still adjusting to touchwiz from sense but I miss Google now not being available on any screen. From what I understand it was available on the S6 on the initial release?
So what happened to it? Did Samsung or Google disabled it? Will it be coming back any time soon?

I believe you're referring to the Ok Google voice detection and not Google Now. You're correct though - I had Ok Google voice detection working seamlessly on my S6 Edge since April 11th. It was a dream to actually have it working from any screen or even while the screen was off during charging - especially when driving and charging. I came from iPhone where the iPhone 6 and others had Hey Siri always listening during charging.

Anyway around the 18th of April all this changed and there's no reasoning behind the change. I can't see this as a battery problem - my Father's S5 has it working why can't the S6 Samsung flagship.

You may hear from others with the S6 who say there's is working. I can tell you that's a load of BS. There's no working around until both Samsung and Google fix it themselves.

It's apparently a Samsung bug, and one that's not yet fixed. I was sure there was an article about it on AC but can't find it :S
It is an official thread on Google's product pages, though... one, alas, that doesn't seem to be fixed.

And here's an article from AndroidPolice. Not that it provides any 'new' info, but at least you know it's widespread and it's apparently only hitting Samsung's latest and greatest.

I did mean OK Google. You'd think Samsung would have acknowledged the issue before now... I how it returns sooner rather than later.
I also miss text reflow on the HTC browser and why can't Samsung have text rescaling on their browser 😠
P.S Excuse the rant lol
