Google Now - How to let the "Google" picture show at the top

How do I get the Google picture to show at the top like in this photo... Mine is the White Oak one and it never shows

lol. That bugged the crap outta me to. Only way i found, was to access Google now by long pressing the home button then selecting the middle icon.

Long press the menu from the home screen or set up a shortcut to the app "search" (blue g icon)

Ah that worked when I did it from the home button! lol
The need to make that picture come up when you hold the menu button too

It doesnt show when you long press the menu, only when you press the G from long pressing the home
