Google Now launcher

Quick question on Now launcher. I just did a data swap from my cracked S6 edge to my new one, and G Now didn't preserve all of my homescreens. It did keep some of the organization..but not all.

I was under the impression this was a pro of using this launcher...am I doing something wrong or misinformed?

Thanks for quick reply. It looks like it kept everything in the proper locations except apps that come pre-installed, so it's better than nothing I suppose.

Actually, I figured it out. I switched back to Now before it finished downloading all my apps. Those already downloaded were put back in the same folders etc as they were on my other device. Everything that downloaded later did not. Moral of the story I guess is to let all the apps download, then switch back to Now.
