Google Now Music Recognition After Lollipop Update

Has anyone noticed that after updating to 5.x that Google Now's ability to recognize music has been greatly reduced? Prior to updating, it worked great.

Tried it out but it had no effect. This really sucks as I used to capture dozens of songs on TV.

Is the Google app itself fully up to date?

Yes it is. I update every time that I'm notified.

Hmm. I'd suggest sending feedback to Google about this.

I did. I've sent feedback to them many times before with no response.

Well, the thing is they don't always give you a response. But hopefully they're making a note of it, and if they get enough feedback like it, they'll do something about it.
