Google Now not listening

I am trying to ask my google now a question, so I say the hotword, which I set to be "Okay Google Now." It hears me and turns on the screen and shows the mic and everything, but it just doesn't hear anything. I can't get it to listen to me after it says it's started to listen.

Strange enough mines doing the same thing. However I don't use it much. Might have been a software update.

Mine does the exact opposite. It will understand what I'm saying, but no matter what it will just google search it. I will tell it to send a message to someone, and it will google search it.

Sorry, had to ask. Not everyone does the obvious first.

I'm going with Milky Way via
the Android Central App

Oh I figured! :P Either way I'm pretty sure its just a software bug they will fix here soon. Thanks for the replies everyone! :)

I discovered that wiping the cache partition immediately corrects that Google Voice responding problem.

Wiping the cache partition on a scheduled basis may very well be a good practice to correct and prevent this and other unexpected odd problems. Perhaps once a month may be sufficient, or however often you prefer.
