Google Now Not Working with Bluetooth Headset Microphone

I have a Moto X (2013) and a Jawbone Icon HD. With Touchless Controls, I hear the phone's voice through my bluetooth headset, but it is using the microphone in the phone to hear my voice. This doesn't work well when I am driving and the phone is not near my mouth. Is there anything I can do to get Touchless Controls and Google Now to listen to me through the bluetooth headset microphone?

Under Bluetooth Setting, I have both Phone Audio and Media Audio both checked.


Under Google Now Settings, Voice, I have Bluetooth Headset checked.


Any ideas how to fix this? It greatly affects the accuracy of the voice recognition in the car.

Same issue here, with note 2 on kitkat, cyanogenmod M11, for both the Jaybird bluebuds X and LG HBS700. Did you find a solution?
