Google Now search read by two voices?

If I search something on Google Now, the regular reading can be heard (i.e. "George Washington was the 1st President of the United States") but there is also a voice speaking my search prompt as well (i.e. "Who is George Washington, Google search"). Any ideas on how to fix this and kick the second voice out?

That's.. strange. It's news to me, and I use Google Now all the time. I did some quick searching and can't find any other mentions of the problem.

Maybe clear cache/data to reset Now and see if the problem persists?

That doesn't happen to me either. Do you have another app that may be causing this?

Do you have a Samsung phone? Heck, maybe it's not only Samsung. Go into Settings / Accessibility and make sure Talkback isn't turned on.
