OK, so it looks like Google Now voice search is missing some very important features, I cannot launch any app no matter how I try. I downloaded the Nexus 7 manual and on page 36 there is a bunch of voice commands but nothing about launching apps. any ideas?
another thing is I downloaded offline voice data but when I put my phone in offline mode the voice search simply doesn't work I understand it cant access a google server but even simple things like creating an alarm doesn't work either. does it need internet for that too?
am I missing something here? I think Siri can open apps and create calendar entries, I cant figure out how to do it here. any suggestions? thanks
