Google Now volume low with wireless earbuds

Hello Everyone: I have an issue on my Nexus 5 where the Google Now volume is low - barely audible through wireless earbuds (Plantronics BackBeat Go 2). I can be listening to something else (music or a podcast or a phone call) and the volume is fine. But when I issue a Google Now voice command (e.g. What time is it?) I can hardly hear the response. The Google Now response volume is OK without the earbuds attached.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Have you tried to switch other wireless earbuds? You'd better to try others to know the reason of your Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 or your phone.
