Question Google one not backing up MMS and sms messages

I am switching from pixel 5 to pixel 8 pro and my pixel 5 is not backing up MMS or sms messages and has not since Aug 17th. I also do not have any of my previous RCS messages transferred to my pixel 8 pro. I have tried deleting and redoing the backup of the pixel 5 and there is now no messages data backed up. Anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried cable between devices to transfer them?

try clear app cache data, Sometimes it helps
