Yesterday the Play Store app alerted me of an update for Google Pinyin IME, an app that I didn't know I had. I guess it's part of the stock keyboard because there's no option for uninstalling it. The only button is "Update." Anybody else get this? Can I just ignore it, or is it going to pester me?

Yup, its a stock Chinese keyboard made by google and comes default on all nexus devices.

its better to update and not deal with nagging update notification.

I don't have it. It's got to do with Chinese character input, so if you have that language added to your phone/keyboard, I'd say take the update (it's from Google China). If you don't ever use the Chinese character set, go into your settings and remove it. You might have accidentally added it at some point (or some app you downloaded added it).

Well I have gotten the same Miami automatically updated when Google for the pinyin I guess automatically or part of your goal I guess not really sure I want to hear more about it though and why it's there what it's all about and why so many different I guess the options of languages but I guess that's part of it too just like anything else
