google Pixel 2 with S gear app will it work ?

dos any one own a google pixel 2 and have a smsung S sport? any way dos the samsung S gear app work on the google pixel 2 and is there any issue ? with the setup with the ger S app?

I have the Frontier S3 with the Gear app and there are no issues with Gear or the watch , however the Pixel 2 has a BT issue that requires you to turn off phone in BT settings on the watch other wise your out going calls might be silent on the phone itself , there are open threads on this here if you search
