Well, just wanted to share my thoughts and opinions with everyone here regarding the Google fabric case. I'm very passionate and anal about which type of case I have in my Pixel 5. I've been through the minimal plastic case, and my wife bought me a clear silicone rubber case. At first I ain't kind of like the minimal case and it is very minimal. It doesn't really offer any screen protection with a lip on the case. But I knew that going into it. The problem is that since it's made of plastic you're not rubber or flexible material, the case starts to expand and wasn't so tight and form fitting around my phone anymore. I went back to the case my wife bought me but it's really thick in the hands. I basically wanted a different type of a case and settled on some kind of a fabric case. Search and scattered Amazon for cheap fabric cases. The problem is as anything else in life, you get what you pay for. The $10 fabric cases have horrible reviews where people say that the fabric peels and gets nasty within a few weeks or so of buying the case. I finally settled on the Google fabric case. All the reviews are very very good for the case. I had device dollars from Verizon that I was planning to use to buy the case. However, due to a system glitch, Verizon to charge me for the case and credited me back money on my bill. So yeah I got a free case. So far I've had the case for about 2 days and I love it so far! It's grippy without being too rough. The kids actually makes the phone a little bit easier to hold because you can grip and hold it easier. It's not too thick and it provides just enough protection around the screen that I need. Just wanted to share this with everyone.
